INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY

Pride Professionals Mentoring Program – A Beacon of LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Development

The Pride Professionals Mentoring Program, designed and delivered by ORGsight, is a flagship initiative championing LGBTQ+ inclusion and professional development. Since its relaunch in 2021, the program has supported 127 mentees, guided by a pool of over 90 mentors across Perth, Brisbane, and Melbourne. The program is unique in its approach – operating independently of individual organisations and fostering connections across industries, with funding provided through corporate sponsorships.

Program Design and Purpose

This program is tailored to:

  • Empower LGBTQ+ Professionals: By connecting mentees with experienced mentors, the program offers a platform for personal and professional growth in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Promote Cross-Industry Insights: External mentoring enables participants to gain fresh perspectives, unconfined by workplace hierarchies or internal biases. Also allowing for participation by LGBTQ+ professionals who might not be out at work.
  • Drive Inclusion Beyond Organisations: Operating across diverse industries, the program broadens its impact on professional networks and leadership development within the LGBTQ+ community.
Corporate Sponsorship and Impact

The Pride Professionals Mentoring Program thrives on the generous support of its sponsors. Their involvement ensures equitable access through subsidised fees and scholarships for mentees in financial hardship, fostering a genuinely inclusive program.
